Spring Hill Regional Hospital has the area's only OB unit. Our "Special Delivery Suites" have everything to make mom, newborn, and dad or coach comfortable. New parents have the opportunity to experience this wonderful event with the privacy necessary to labor, deliver, and recover, while specialized physicians and nurses tend to every need.

In addition to providing a cozy, home-like atmosphere, our suites are equipped with the latest medical technology and equipment for use when needed.

For premature babies and others who need more support, our 10-bed Level II NICU is located adjacent to our Special Delivery Suites. Here, we're able to care for babies who weigh 2 lbs. 4 oz. or more, (usually about 29 weeks gestation). Our neonatologist and specialized nurses can begin delivering intensive care to these babies at the first sign of need.

Once a baby is born and under NICU care, family members are encouraged to visit, touch, and talk with their child.
