With a number of quality pediatricians on our medical staff, and nurses who are certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and specially trained in pediatric nursing, we adapt our care to the special needs of our youngest patients. We go to great lengths to involve you in your child’s care and treatment, with parent rooming in and meals.

The child in a healthcare setting has special needs unlike those of the adult patient. Recognizing those needs, our pediatric nurses strongly encourage family-centered care in our designated pediatric area (complete with a children’s playroom). Special features include a six-bed unit with one private room, "tugboat" transport to other departments, separate playroom with age appropriate toys and unrestricted visiting for immediate family.
