Gino Santorio, Chief Operating Officer, joined Spring Hill Regional Hospital in May, 2008. Prior to working at Spring Hill, he served with the New York State Division of Budget for 5 years. After leaving New York, Gino moved to Polk County, FL to work with the Board of County Commissioners as a Senior Management and Budget Analyst. Gino came to Spring Hill from Brooksville Regional Hospital where he served as the Assistant CFO when he joined HMA in 2007.
Gino received his B.S. in Business Leadership at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY and an M.P.A., with a concentration in Finance from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at The University of Albany, NY. As CFO, Gino oversees Accounting, Business Office, Medical Records, Case Management, Materials Management and Information Systems Departments. Gino also serves as the Hospital Compliance Officer. As the HCO, he is responsible for helping to identify and prevent violations of law by providing education to hospital employees and abiding by the terms and conditions of the HMA Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program.
